Concert Information

Dress Rehearsals:
All dress rehearsals will take place on the day of or the day before the concert at the concert location unless otherwise noted in the Newsletter . Specific times for each group's rehearsal will be announced in the Newsletter; concert dress is not expected for rehearsal, unless a photo shoot has been announced. . Rehearsals may be scheduled by conductors prior to Monday evening Chamber Concerts.

Recitals/Master Classes:
Conductors occasionally schedule master classes to be held at the regular Monday rehearsal time. On the day of the master class, students should report at their regular rehearsal times. Master classes last approximately 45 minutes and are followed by a short reception; parents and friends are invited to attend.

Sectional Rehearsals:
Sectional rehearsals for YAP (senior orchestra) are held before each concert and attendance at these rehearsals is MANDATORY . Missed sectionals will count toward attendance policy. They are usually held on Sunday afternoons at Union Baptist Church (see attached map) in Stamford unless otherwise notified; times and dates of each sectional will be announced by Mr. Princiotti.

Concert Dress: YAP , YAFC, and YPFC:
Boys: Dark blazer, dark slacks, white shirt, black bow tie, dark dress shoes, and dark socks
Girls: Long (to the ankle, no velvet) black skirt, dressy black top (may be ordered through catalog in early fall) black hose and black dress pumps (no lace-ups)
YPS:
Boys: Dark jacket, dark pants, white shirt, tie, and dress shoes.
Girls: Dark skirt (long or below the knee – no minis) white dressy blouse and dress shoes YSE:
Boys: Dark jacket, dark pants, white shirt, tie, and dress shoes
Girls: Dark skirt (long or below the knee – no minis) white dressy blouse and dress shoes

Concert Tickets:
Information concerning subscription tickets to all three concerts will be sent in early fall. Those wishing to purchase single tickets may do so at the door on the evening of the concert; Box Office opens at 6pm for a 7pm concert. For subscription information contact Ele Lowenthal (203) 322-3795.
